Internet radio playback, plus the discovery tools that help you get from "something new" to a station worth saving.

  1. Play and save stations

    Listen to internet radio, preview a station before saving it, and keep saved stations and favourites. Station cards use the station logo or a consistent placeholder.

  2. Search and browse

    Browse and search by name, genre, country or language. AI-assisted search also takes a natural prompt, so you can describe the kind of station you are after.

  3. Recommendations

    Recommendations use your listening taste and station signals. Where there is enough station data, an explanation can tell you why a station showed up.

  4. Similar stations

    Start from a station you already like and look for alternatives, with tuning options for less talk, more energy or a calmer result.

Three moments the app is built for

  1. You want something new

    Search by genre, country or language, or describe the kind of station you want and let AI-assisted search do the looking.

  2. You want that one station back

    Saved stations and favourites keep the ones that worked, and similar stations give you a way back to the same kind of listening.

  3. You change phone

    Google Drive backup and restore moves saved stations, settings and logos across, after you authorise a Google account for Drive.

Privacy

What stays on the device, and what does not

Local first

The core listening experience is local first: saved stations, favourites, settings and station logos are stored on the device.

Online features need network services: AI search, recommendations, similar stations, stream health checks and backup. The privacy policy describes what is processed in each case.

Backup and restore

WaveIQ Radio backs up and restores saved stations, settings and logos. This is backup and restore, not live sync between devices.

Google Drive backup runs through a Google sign-in you authorise yourself, with manual backup and restore plus automatic backup controls, including a Wi-Fi-only option.
