Privacy Policy

This page explains what data SureKeep processes, why it is processed, and how to contact support.

Introduction

This privacy policy applies to the mobile application SureKeep, previously or internally also referred to as WarrantyWallet.

Summary

  • SureKeep helps you store and organize receipts, warranties, product information, documents, and business receipt material.
  • The app is designed with a local-first approach. Some data can be stored on your device first and may sync when account/backend features are used.
  • Account, cloud sync, AI-assisted recognition, and business/accountant workflows are optional app features.
  • Receipt images, PDFs, metadata, and AI results may be processed when you choose to add, scan, sync, or analyze receipts.
  • The app does not sell your personal data and does not use your receipt contents for advertising.

Data Collection and Usage

SureKeep may process receipt metadata, merchant names, dates, totals, categories, warranty/return dates, notes, attachments, and document files that you add to the app.

When you use account or sync features, selected data may be stored in a secure backend so that your receipts and related files can be synchronized and restored.

Business receipt features may process business-use status, accounting month grouping, archive status, accountant email address, and email draft handoff status.

AI-Assisted Receipt Recognition

SureKeep may provide optional AI-assisted recognition for receipts and documents.

When you start analysis, the selected receipt image or PDF and related metadata may be sent to a secure backend and AI service provider solely to extract receipt details and generate the requested result.

AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review and correct important information before relying on it, especially for accounting, warranty, or tax purposes.

Accounts, Authentication and Sync

If account features are used, the app may process authentication identifiers, email address, display name, provider information, account identifiers, and technical sync metadata.

Account data is used to authenticate users, protect access, synchronize app data, and prevent unauthorized use.

Attachments and Documents

Receipt photos, scanned PDFs, warranty documents, manuals, and other attachments may be stored locally on your device and/or in the backend when sync or account features are used.

Attachments are used to display your documents, support AI recognition, restore receipts, and create local email drafts when using business workflows.

Business Receipts and Accountant Material

SureKeep can help group business receipts by accounting month and prepare a local email draft for an accountant.

Opening an email draft uses your device email application. It does not by itself prove delivery, mark material legally submitted, or replace your own accounting responsibilities.

Archived business receipts remain available in the app unless deleted by the user or removed according to applicable account/data deletion processes.

Analytics and Diagnostics

The app may collect limited technical diagnostics, crash information, and usage events to improve reliability and product quality.

Analytics, if used, is not intended to include receipt contents, document contents, notes, accounting material contents, or full user-generated text.

Security and Anti-Abuse

Technical systems such as authentication, backend authorization, rate limiting, request logging, and integrity checks may be used to protect the service.

These systems are used for security, reliability, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention, not for advertising profiling.

Third-Party Services

SureKeep may use third-party services including:

  • Firebase Authentication or similar authentication providers
  • Backend hosting and database services
  • AI service providers for requested AI recognition
  • Google ML Kit / Android document scanning or platform services
  • Device email applications for email draft handoff

Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, clear app data, or use app deletion features.

Backend data may remain stored while your account is active and while it is needed to provide sync, restore, archive, security, and business workflow features.

For business receipts and accounting material, you are responsible for complying with applicable bookkeeping, tax, and retention obligations.

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not use receipt or document contents for advertising.
  • We do not use third-party advertising SDKs for behavioral advertising.
  • We do not treat AI recognition as professional tax, accounting, legal, or warranty advice.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.
