Common questions

  • Does the app work offline? Yes. Local lists, notes, favorites, and most everyday features work offline.
  • When is an internet connection required? Internet is required for optional AI features, shared list collaboration, Google Sign-In, invite links, push notifications, and some voice recognition providers.
  • Do I need an account? No account is required for normal local use. Google Sign-In is only needed for optional shared list collaboration.
  • AI is not working Check your internet connection, update the app, and retry. If the issue persists, contact support and include your device model, Android version, app version, and what you tried to generate.
  • Backup / restore If you use export/import, ensure the backup file is accessible and required storage permissions are granted.

Shared lists troubleshooting

  • Invite link does not open the app: Make sure the app is installed and updated. If needed, copy the invite link and open it again from the same device.
  • Cannot join a shared list: Check that you are signed in with Google and that the invite link is still valid.
  • List does not update in realtime: Check your internet connection, close and reopen the shared list, and make sure you are still a member of the list.
  • You cannot edit items: Your role may be Viewer. Ask the list owner to change your role if editing is needed.
  • Notifications are missing: Check Android notification permission, app notification settings, shared list notification preference, and battery/background restrictions.

Google Sign-In and shared data

Google Sign-In is optional and is used only for shared list collaboration. You can sign out from the app settings. To request deletion of optional cloud/shared collaboration data, contact support using the email address above and include the Google account email used for shared lists.

When reporting a bug, please include:
• App version
• Device model and Android version
• Whether the issue concerns local lists, AI, shared lists, invite links, Google Sign-In, or notifications
• What you expected vs. what happened
• Steps to reproduce (if possible)
• Screenshots or screen recording if helpful
