1) Delete the account in the app
Open Työtori and go to Settings → Account → User account → Delete my account and all my data. The app asks you to confirm, then deletes the account. No subscription is needed for this, and it is the fastest route.
2) What that deletes
- From the Työtori backend: your account row, profile, CV records and the CV files stored on the server, job searches and their results, saved jobs, suitability analyses, application drafts including sent and archived ones, and subscription and usage records.
- Your sign-in identity: the Firebase Authentication account. If this step fails, the app reports the deletion as incomplete instead of claiming success, so you can try again.
- From the device: prepared application material PDFs, generated CV PDFs, the preview cache, the analytics user state and the crash-reporting user id.
- Browser session data: cookies and storage that employer sites set in the Työtori browser are cleared at the account boundary.
3) What can still remain for a while
- Server logs: category-level application logs rotate after 14 days, and standard web server access logs follow their own rotation. They contain no application content.
- Backend backups: database backups can still hold a copy for a limited time, so we do not promise instant erasure from every backup.
- Your own Android backup: Android may have copied the app’s private files to your own Google Drive. That backup is under your Google account, and you manage it there.
- Files you saved yourself: attachments you saved to your phone’s Downloads folder are your own files. Työtori does not delete them.
- Applications you already sent: once an application is with an employer, it is in the employer’s system under their own privacy policy. Työtori cannot delete it.
4) Cancel the subscription separately
A Työtori+ subscription is a Google Play subscription. Deleting your Työtori account does not cancel it. Cancel it in Google Play, from the subscription management link in the Työtori+ view or from your Google Play subscriptions.
5) If you cannot get into the app
Send a deletion request by email. Use the same email address you signed in to Työtori with, so the request can be matched to the right account.
